Why are my Mail notifications not working on iPad and iPhone?

Update from my queries earlier in January.

after update 18.4 I am here to report that as to my iPad 7th generation my assigned notifications are back for Mail.

however, not for my iPhone 15 as to text messages. Still no notifications. Hopefully next update.

I only use iPad for mail. I only use iPhone for text messages.
