How do I force my Mac mini M1 to completely erase an SSD?

I believe my storage on Mac mini m1 is misconfigured. I noticed my Apple SSD image top level of internal was all the way full I had two children under it. Container and container child. I need to delete all data from SSD but I get error stating cannot delete disk0 because it’s in use with kernel. Someone please help me achieve erasing SSD and any other image/container that may have left over data because they’re all the way full besides the children. Am willing to pay someone to hop on a call and get this figured out. I’m reinstalling macOS Sonoma in the mean time because I’m not sure if the reason as to why I couldn’t delete SSD was because I did not have an os installed??
