iCloud for Windows Notes Check-marks Not Working

I've tried on three different Browsers. The check-mark feature in Notes does not view or work properly in Firefox, Edge or Brave browsers. This started with Firefox several months ago, so I simply began using Edge for my iCloud landing page. Then the same problem began in Edge last week. I tried a new browser today, Brave, and the same problem exists there. Notes works perfectly on my Apple devices like iPhone and iPad, so the problem must be with iCloud for Windows. Any help or suggestions? I'm stunned I don't find more chatter on this problem. It's been reported in the Firefox help communities for several months.
