Unable to open uploaded files in iCloud on my computer

Starting today I can no longer open uploaded files in I Cloud on my computer. Never had this problem before. Have tried everything with no success.

Files App keeps reloading I found lately for no reason my files app are all empty and then over a period of time all my files sync again. Frustrating when i need to access a file quickly and then nothing…. Then waiting for icloud to re-sync so i can access the file.
