Unable to connect AirPods to my iPhone 16 Pro
Tried all the different steps and methods, but couldnt get the airpods connected to the new iphone.

The exact error is "Connection Failed - Try Again!". I have reset the airpods several times. I have tried and connected the same airpods to another older model iphone 12 and successfully connected within seconds without any issues. I have tried following several times but none of them worked -
- Reset airpods
- Changed name of the iphone 16 pro which I am trying to connect to
- On & off bluetooth and restarted the phone
- Updated IOS
- Reset network settings on the iphone 16 pro
I didn't have to do any of the above with the older iphone 12, that one picked up the airpods straightaway.
Hope it's not Apple's planned obsolescence.
