I want to transfer all of my music from my Macbook Pro music library to iPhoto slideshow

macOS is Monterey 12.4

Some of my music does transfer but others are not available for transfer. My older Macbook Pro with same os does not have this issue. All music were purchased thru the App Store.

Does seem like this functionality is available and we're required to subscribe to Apple Music. I can get files into iCloud and via the files app access the music, but it's a one off there's no library functionality to import it into the music app (unless I'm just missing something which is always possible lol) Thanks

Music library transfer & album artwork Hello, I imported my music library from my old macbook using itunes to my new macbook using the "music app". The import went well and the itl file from itunes could be used with the "music app". The issue is that album artworks are not showing in Music. Actually they are showing in the minimized picture on the right hand side of the play button, but none of the artwork is showing while browsing the app. The mp3 files are also displaying the artwork, so it seems the data is there somewhere but "music app" cant see it. Is there any way to get music app to show album artworks properly ? Thanks

Transferring Music library from a Mac to a PC I am contemplating replacing my current 2017 MacBook with a less expensive laptop running Windows 11. Before doing so I want to make sure I'll be able to successfully transfer my current Music library on my Mac to the new PC. This library is large (~800 GB, stored on an external HD [Mac OS Extended]); ~90% of the contents are made up of ripped CDs (Apple lossless audio compression); and the song metadata (info pertaining to artist, title, etc.) have in many instances been extensively modified/edited. I would like, if possible, to know in advance whether I can expect problems in attempting such a transfer. Specifically, (a) whether the lossless nature of the ripped songs will remain unchanged (i.e., not replaced by some lossy version) and (b) whether the edited metadata can be preserved in the transfer process. Most of the information I've found about Mac-to-PC transfers appears to be outdated (e.g., referring to the old iTunes app); nor are my aforementioned concerns addressed, e.g., my concerns about the transfer (or failure to transfer) metadata from the Mac Music library. If anyone has any information or advice on this specific subject, I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.
