Why does saving a pdf to books rely on continued internet access to the original webpage?
I saved a PDF of a slide show published online years ago. That slideshow is now no longer available from the original source. Now, my saved PDF in the Books app says “A problem repeatedly occurred on (website)”.
The whole point of keeping a copy of the information on Books was in case it was no longer available. Except now that it relied accessing the original source online, it’s useless.
Any way to fix?
