Has anyone’s Apple Card closed BEFORE payment due date? (No past due payment)

Hey Y’all! See proof. Is this legal?

Either party can close the account at anytime. That’s stated in the Apple Card Customer Agreement (terms and conditions). While it’s not common, it does happen. It’s certainly not illegal.

They may have misunderstood your last payment. I’ve seen that before when an account balance is paid it’s accidentally marked final payment by bank and account is closed. Banks typically won’t admit the mistake.

If your account has been closed more than 30 days, you can apply to open a new account.

Thanks; I wasn't sure if that's what you meant, but now I understand they unexpectedly closed your account.

No, it's certainly not illegal, and it would have been nice if they explained that intent in advance. For example they closed my Apple Card account the same way, but I had not been using it either. They cynic in me concluded it's because they weren't making any money from that account, so I immediately opened a new one and bought some Apple stuff.

GS still won't be making any money from me, so I expect they will close it too.
