Put your phone in a durable case, using a high quality glass screen protector and do NOT put covers over the cameras as they can cause issues with taking better quality photos.

Your Apple Store can install a good quality Belkin Screen Protector or you can order from hundreds of sellers on Amazon who sell very good quality screen protectors, like Spigen or Zagg.

lobsterghost1 made a great response. To add on, your iPhone’s camera lens are made out of Sapphire Glass which is already very durable and on the Mohs scale is a 9/10, right behind diamond. That is the mineral hardness scale. It is hard enough to scratch as it is.

Do not use a camera lens protector, it will negatively affect the quality of your photos. Instead as stated, use a good quality case, and I suggest one with raised ridges around the camera which can help protect the lens from drops and dings. I know for certain that Apple’s cases have that. And also get a good quality screen protector. I currently use Spigen, it was easy to install and the touch is good.

Hi, thanks for the info for the 16e screen protector, what do you recommend to protect the camera lens ?
I bought the silicone case from the apple store but it leaves the lens vulnerable.

Thanhs,

T.G.

You're welcome. In my first reply to you, I suggested to NOT use lens protectors. A good case, with a raised lip around the cameras is all you need. Zachyy also suggested no lens protectors. The cameras have Sapphire Glass covers as it is.

Hey Z. I was a huge Spigen user, until I picked this up. It's from a company called Rago. After a little research, they've been in the screen protector business a LONG time and this is the first screen protector I've seen with a 10H hardness rating. I've had it on my 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max now since January and I haven't been able to scratch it, even a little and it's the smoothest, least prone to finger prints I've ever used.
