How can I use Stage Manager with Safari Window Sets on macOS?

Can anyone explain how this is supposed to work?

With Stage Manager active, I open a few windows in Safari. This is now a Window Set. If I Minimise one of these windows, or choose "Remove Window from Set" from the Window Menu, or drag a window to screen-left, the active window is moved to a new 'Group' or 'Stage' or 'App Set' (G/S/Set) ... not sure of the correct name. If I repeat the process with several windows, I will now have 2 G/S/Set for Safari and I can toggle between them.

It doesn't seem possible to make more than 2 of these G/S/Set and they don't behave in the same way as a single one. For example:

• The "Remove Window from Set" Window Menu command is greyed out.

• I have a Shortcut for resizing/positioning Safari windows and it doesn't work at all for ANY that are in the

Questions:

• Is this expected behaviour?

• Any suggestions how to get my Shortcut working? (I think it doesn't work because it thinks Safari is not the active G/S/Set)

• Any way to make more than one G/S/Set?

What would be cool as features:

• Multiple Window Sets per app.

• Option for App Exposé to display windows from the current G/S/Set and NOT from the App.

(I can't find any macOS Help describing the "Remove Window from Set" Window Menu command.)
