Messages Not Working On MacBook Pro After Updating to Sequoia 15.4

Ever since I updated my MacBook Pro to Sequoia 15.4, I can't send or receive text messages through iMessage. It doesn't matter if I'm sending to other Mac users or trying to send as SMS. I am only able to send messages through my iPhone.

I've tried rebooting my computer and phone, logging in and out of my iCloud account, ensuring that the sync setting is correct on my phone and my MacBook Pro, network connected, etc.

Occasionally, a text will go through, but it's unpredictable which ones will go through and when.

It's very frustrating and I'm hoping someone has some suggestions as to what to do.

Thank you!

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 15.4

Me too, I've done everything. Also, once my Mac reopened after the update, I received hundreds of 1 second FaceTime calls from people I had not spoken to in months. I have had so many problems with this Mac since I bought it. Looking into other brands for my next computer.
