Pages: pattern match and apply custom style

I'm looking for a way to create a shortcut or automator action to pattern match some text in Pages document using reg ex, and then apply custom style / formatting to the matched pattern. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance!

No. Pages has no find/replace with regex or means to apply a new style to found text. Neither Automator or Shortcuts can help here.

Simpler to export the Pages document as Word docx, open it in the free LibreOffice Suite, and use its Writer application's regular expression and style replacement features in Find/Replace. Or, open it in MS Word if you have it and do the same thing. Then save it and reopen it in Pages.
