Homepod settings menu doesn't include wifi

I have been trying to control the wifi network used by my homepod minis, but all the instructions that say to select it from the settings menu seem to be wrong (there is no such menu item!). Is the only way to change the wifi on your phone and then go into settings and allow it to replicate the change on the homepods? Seems a bit odd.

Wi-Fi details are passed to HomePod via iCloud Keychain. If you want to set up a new Wi-Fi router you should connect one of your devices to it first to enter the settings, then reconnect to the current Wi-Fi so the the information can propagate through your home before you switch. Alternatively set up the new gear with the same SSID and password as the old kit.
