Just curious….considering buying now to avoid the potential of tariffs increasing the cost of an iPhone in Canada despite 70% of iPhones being manufactured in China and perhaps directly imported to Canada.

Nobody outside of Apple knows for certain.
However, these unnecessary trade wars (which could have been so easily avoided) certainty don’t bode well for prices anywhere (not just of stuff made by Apple, but of stuff in general).

We don't have any information about future Apple pricing, with or without new tariffs being in effect. And I doubt (but can't know) whether Apple has reached any pricing decisions yet.
Ask your government.
