How do I permanently disable Dynamic Island on iPhone 16?

I don’t like little things popping up on my screen when im doing something else. It’s crazy distracting and annoying. It’s bizarre I can’t disable it when I can disable literally any other iPhone feature. You could at least make it transparent

I want it gone, and I’m seriously considering returning this phone and using my old one without this major design flaw

It is a cut out in the OLED screen where the faceID and front camera are housed.

it is not going anywhere and cannot be disabled.

The Dynamic Island is not new, it has been part of the iPhone design for a few years.

Im not sure why you bought the iPhone since it bothers you so much.

Return your iPhone if you are in the 2 week return window and go and buy a phone from a different manufacturer.
