How to remove EFI lock from MacBook Pro without proof of ownership?

My guy, Oscar, gave me this 2011 MacBook Pro 13" he recovered from da bin ok. It worked fine for a while, but one day, I attempted to install Windows 10. I did all the steps, and I activated it during the installation page, and it was installing ok. I was like, Bet I'm gonna BootCamp this thing. Then the thing locked up and boy I was angry cause me and oscar didn't know so yeah smith is not very helpful sooooooo I need help bypassing cause apple is not helping unless smith gives me a copy of the original invoice or receipt from their system. Is there any way to get around it?

Oscar cant get it cause he got it out of the bin and struggles with certain tasks due to mental problems. I am his best friend so i prefer to take that weight off his shoulders. Anyways the macbook was put of a bin.

Let me see if I understand. Oscar can't get the receipt because he got the MacBook Pro "out of a bin"? Meaning that the MacBook Pro never belonged to Oscar or to you in the first place?

Apple is not going to help you to remove an EFI lock from a MacBook that,

  • at best, belonged to a stranger who did not care about helping others to use it, as much as about protecting their data; and
  • that might be stolen property – dumped in that bin after the thief encountered the EFI lock and realized that their stolen MacBook Pro wasn't going to be quite the free payday they were hoping for it to be

The EFI lock will remain, and you will not be removing it.
