How can I match Apple Music's sampling rate with systemwide audio on Mac?

I've recently switched from a Windows laptop to the current MacBook Pro 24 Nov. While I enjoyed using Apple Music with it, I have no idea what sampling rate the song is being played back at, and unsure whether it is matching systemwide audio sampling rate. Is there solution to this problem?

Sample rate doesn’t change If I use my Mac book pro an switch to 96khz sampling and music is less than 96 it makes an upsampling instead of switching down on the usb output. mir I use my iPad or iPhone with lightning to usb I don’t get a higher sample rate than 44.1khz. Still with high res it stays 44.1 my d/a converter says. how to hear music with Apple Music always in the native sample rate?!?

Exclusive mode on Mac, users still waiting for a fix Apple Music for MacOS doesn’t have an exclusive mode like iOS does, and other streaming apps like Tidal and Amazon Music on macOS. So for Apple Music, the audio output format is set in Audio MIDI Setup in macOS. But this is set so, if you pick 16/44 but play a 24/96 song, it will downsample it on macOS. Changing Audio MIDI Setup for each song is impossible. Plug ins and doohickies for macOS that kind of do this, just do not work as well as an exclusive mode does. Exclusive mode just, does it. For each song. The end. This has been an issue for Music on Macs for years now. Really, the best solution is for Apple to fix it. So be sure to let Apple know on the Feedback page. Feedback - Apple Music - Apple Please note that Apple also calls this Community a place for discussions to learn more about aspects of Apple products and services. I post this in that context, not asking for an answer, but providing insight. For which, right now, there are none. But do let Apple know in Feedback that you want Apple Music songs to play on macOS at the song's highest quality, automatically. Just like iOS does.
