At some point the option to always open a link in a new tab disappeared from Mac OSX Safari. Please reinstate this. Thanks (Sonoma 14.7.5 Safari 18.4)

You can open links in a new tab manually by holding the Command key while clicking on a link. This opens it in a new tab every time.
Thank you! My post asked for the reinstatement of a simple automatic option in Safari settings that has existed perhaps 30 years and need not be removed: always open link in new tab.
Why did the new tab option disappear in Safari after latest update?
