iPhone calender wiped after upgrading to iPhone 16s

I recently upgraded to the iPhone 16, transferred everything from my old iPhone but I've had it for a few days and my entire calendar is wiped! It only shows holidays, none of my events are showing up. I've tried to restore it from iCloud but it says no archives available. Does anyone know how I can get my calendar back, my whole life is planned out in it. Cheers

In mosts cases, your calendar data is not stored on the device directly but is instead stored on a server such as your email provider. It is likely that you simply have not logged into the provider account (email/calendar/contacts) that you were using on your old iPhone. Once you login, your calendar data will reappear. For example, look at your old iPhone at: Settings > Apps > Calendar > Calendar Accounts. Which account providers are listed? Add those same accounts to your new iPhone, and make sure that Calendar is enabled during the process, and your calendar data should show up.
