Still Crashing macbook (15.3.2)

In a previous post about a macbook pro crashing after upgrading to 15.2, there were a couple suggestions.

It's gotten a lot better but now it's intermittently crashing/restarting.

I ran an Etrecheck Pro and it came back with some kernal panics and 'heavy CPU usage' (though Activity Monitor said otherwise).

Anyway,

I'm posting here again because I think I'm gonna have to finally do a 'wipe' as suggested here.

Will this wipe allow me to redownload (after the wipe) my user folder?
