How can I postpone my free 3-month Apple Music trial?

I haven’t activated my free 3-month Apple Music trial, but I got an alert saying it will soon expire. Is there a way to postpone the trial period so I can use it at a later time?

No, the terms don’t allow for a postponement:

Offer must be claimed in the Apple Music app within 90 days after first setting up your new device. Make sure it is running the latest operating system. To see the offer appear, you will need to sign in with your Apple ID.
