Dark Mode always on, X.com, Twitter, IPad using Safari

When using X.com (Twitter) on my IPad, using Safari browser not the app.

Dark mode was always on, irrespective of time. So I had Twitter tabs in dark mode and other tabs in light mode.

I sorted it after much rummaging around. See screen shots, numbered 1 to 5, they may display out of order. Hope this helps someone.

Google search theme switching problem! Hi my name is Ahmed Malick, I set automatic Dark and Light mode but when... you know just like it's 7 pm and switched to Dark mode and opened Safari did one google search, results comes on light mode then refreshed or opened new tab then Dark mode runs on google search. Same when in morning after sunrise, iPhone switched to Light mode and did first search on Safari, google search results opened on Dark mode and then refreshed again to switch to Light mode. So I want anybody to help me with this to make sure I don't need to refresh to switch to current mode on google search. google sign in doesn't work at all.

Dark mode glitch using Google in Safari on iPhone I’m using iPhone SE3, on iOS 16.1.2 update. I have settings so it’s in Light Mode 7AM-11PM; Dark Mode at night. Color filter is definitely OFF. I rarely use my screen at night. Only if I really can’t sleep or am up late doing something urgent where I need to look up info. I discovered that since the update to iOS 16, if I Safari> Search> Google (not signed into Google App or account) while in Dark Mode, the setting for Google in its own interface menu goes to Dark Mode, but it STICKS there when my phone goes back to Light Mode. I have to manually change it back on the Google page. Is this a known issue?

iOS 18.3.1 side effect — losing Dark app icons on iPhone home page? I often get up early, before sunrise, and use my iPad & iPhone. I really appreciate apps using Dark mode in their UIs,as well as displaying dark app icons on the home screen. So I noticed right away after updating iOS to 18.3.1, that all the app icons on the home screen & app library were the bright “light” icons instead of “dark” icons. Incidentally, the iPhone’s home screen wallpaper, icons, and folder backgrounds continued to become dark as usual. Meanwhile, all the same app icons on all of the family iPads (various generations, all just updated to iPadOS 18.3) changed to dark icons along with the Dark display & brightness. I don’t yet know if this issue affects many or few iPhone models. Anyone know?
