How do I remove extraneous symbols from Stickies after a backup restore on Mac?

Backup on system SSD, currently on Catalina 10.15.7, 2012 Mac Mini server. No idea how to remove all the added extraneous symbols, besides a few hours editing, hoping I reproduce all the important URLs. Any ideas how Stickies got deleted may help. I'm very careful with the program, and can't imagine ignoring the usual permission box asking if I Really want to delete.
