System Settings for mouse not saving
In Sequoia, 15.3.2: I go to System Settings > Desktop & Dock > scroll down to Mission Control, click the "Shortcuts..." button, then select my preferences (e.g. Mission Control - Mouse Shortcut - Mouse Button 3) and then, next time I log out (as user) and log back in to the same user account, the previously selected preferences have defaulted back to the factory setting.
This is very annoying: it's surprising how much muscle memory is involved with things like pressing the middle wheel/button of a mouse to do whatever you've set it to do.
I have a new Mac mini (M4) and only recently set it up. The mouse (which happens to be made by Dell) is connected via USB, via a wired Apple keyboard.
It's not a huge issue -- just odd. I have not noticed how many other System Settings are resetting when I log back in (not yet).
Thanks for any advice,
Nick
