Safari of Mac - form autofill - how to set sort order?

I use autofill on a website I use for filling out certain forms regularly.

On a certain field it has sorted the autofill items alphabetically. Two weeks ago this all of a sudden changed, to sort these items by last-used. How do I change this setting back to sort alphabetically?

safari autofill is inconsistent I'm growing increasingly frustrated with Safari's autofill, especially on the Mac. Sometimes it knows to put in my information, sometimes it doesn't. The little contact icon that shows up offering my entire contact book info is not helpful, demands too many clicks. Edge and Chrome seem to get this down quite easily, but it's very hit and miss with Safari for me. I have all the auto-fill preferences on. Attached is a screenshot of a pretty basic website that I wish it auto-filled, but it didn't work, nor did clicking on the contact icon do anything. Any ideas?

Tab order by subject alphabetically or website is hopeless On Safari my tabs were automatically arranged by the date I first opened them. Easy to find them. Recently that became alphabetical by subject (lots starting with "the") without my doing anything. How do I get back to the date order? I do NOT want alphabetical, either by website or first word.

Autofill not working on M1 Mac, Ventura I have been unable to use autofill in Safari on any website requiring name, address, phone, etc. and I cannot get it to work. The little silhouette icon with the dropdown arrow appears in the fields, but clicking on it does nothing, nor does touching the Touch ID button. All the obvious system settings are correct, Touch ID and Password are set up and functional, my personal contact card is filled out, and I'm not using private windows. VPN on or off has no effect, there is no other software installed that is obviously interfering. I've used Onyx to clean up or clean out anything that can be cleaned. I've rebooted and updated. I've searched this issue all over and have found the question asked many times, but no corrective answers. Does autofill just not work anymore?
