low latency audio interface for logic

I want to record vocals and guitar in Logic 11. What interface offers the lowest latency with Logic Pro 11

To dovetail off of yoyoBen, UAD has been a great interface for me.

Near-Zero Latency Monitoring:

  • UAD Apollo interfaces allow you to monitor audio signals through UAD plugins with minimal latency using the Console application, bypassing the DAW's buffer size.

The bug I am referring to is that Logic will not record audio from a microphone or line input unless I open in this sequence: right click Logic app(in applications folder) and select Show Package Contents. In Contents go to Mac OS and double click on Logic Pro. This then brings up the Terminal app which asks if I should grant Logic access to the microphone. I reply yes and Logic opens and I now it records guitar/vocals accurately. I have to leave the Terminal app open. I had tried using the Apogee Symphony, Apogee Boom and Apollo Twin X, and unless I do this, they all do not record incoming audio correctly. I have used these same audio interfaces with Cubase 14 on the same computer and had no issues recording at all. This is definitely a Logic 11 bug.
