Mouse pointer dissapears when logging off on mac-mini

I know there are a lot of missing mouse questions but mine seems specific to mac-minis and specifically when logging off. I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same issue.

On the new M4 mac-mini (which has all the latest software updates installed without issues), everytime I try logging off, the log-off prompt pops up and the mouse pointer dissapears. The mouse pointer appears to be 'invisible' because if I can estimate where it is, I'm still able to click on 'cancel' or 'logoff'.

It's not a show stopper because I can ultimately just hit 'return' to kick off the logoff sequence but it's annoying when I have to tell hundreds of folks using the mac-mini that they need to press the 'return' key to logoff since I use the mac-mini in the office.

Does anyone know a fix for this invisible mouse problem?

Ok some quick updates that I have found from my own investigation and multiple tests.

The issue with the missing mouse pointer is caused by the fact that I'm using a wireless mouse. Wired mice on the other hand don't have the missing mouse pointer problem when logging off the mac-mini.

Just a FYI to the 1% of people who actually care about this problem. LOL!
