Ghost FaceTime call from wife's iPhone to MacBook Pro

My wife and I were sitting together watching instagram reels on her phone - FaceTime app not even open in the background on her phone.

My laptop, on her desk, began ringing with a FaceTime call - I look at the contact and it's my wife, who's sitting right beside me.

We both have an iPhone and a MacBook but both of our laptops were idle in other parts of the room.

We looked at each other like "that's weird" should we answer the FaceTime?

I answered the call and it was a FaceTime with camera off.

How could this have happened?
