Why does it say verification required when I try to download an app
When I try to download a free app it says verification required . Why is that ? I’m going to bed now I have to get up early . Goodnight guys and thanks .

The "Verification Required" message appears when downloading apps because your Apple ID's payment information needs to be verified. This can happen for several reasons:
1. Payment Method Issues: Your payment method might be outdated, invalid, or missing.
2. Unpaid Balance: There could be an unpaid balance or pending purchase on your account.
3. First-Time Download: If you've never downloaded an app with your Apple ID, Apple may require you to verify your payment details.
4. Family Sharing Restrictions: If you're part of a Family Sharing group, your account might have restrictions.
To fix this:
- Go to Settings ➡️ Apple ID ➡️ Payment & Shipping and update your payment method.
- Check for any unpaid balances under Settings ➡️ Apple ID ➡️ Media & Purchases ➡️ Purchase History.
- If you don't want to add a payment method, select None under payment options.
