How can I back up my iPod nano without iTunes?
I still have an ipod nano. I'd like to back up its contents. I can't find out how to this, if at all. I'd be grateful for any advice. Thanks

There is no backup option for music on the iPod. Instead, the backup for an iPod nano is the iTunes Library that put the music onto the iPod originally.
So the question is is the music on the iPod in iTunes on your computer? If it isn't, then either you will have to go back to the original source of your music or use third-party software to recover the music from the ipod.
