MacBook Pro running Ventura wanting to upgrade to Sequoia

I have a MacBook Pro from 2017. In the system settings I keep getting a notification that I have an upgrade to sequoia available. I installed the upgrade last night, and my wifi adapters would not find any networks to connect to... I am confused because I have had this MacBook Pro for almost 1 year, and I have never been able to upgrade to Sequoia until last night... Can someone explain what is going on?

My model identifier is MacBook Pro 14,3

PS: I rolled my OS back to Ventura so I can utilize my MacBook.

FWIW, there is software that can be installed to try and run versions of macOS on an unsupported Mac.

This may give some insight…

Install EtreCheck and post the report. Allow Full Disk Access.

I do have Ventura installed. But the notification will not go away for the Sequoia upgrade. And it's kind of annoying. I do not understand why out of nowhere its suddenly saying I can upgrade... if that makes sense.

The latest version of macOS supported by a MacBookPro14,3 is Ventura. Check "About This Mac" from the Apple menu to see what is installed.

The only way one could installed Sequoia on a 2017 MacBook Pro is if it is hacked. Did you buy it used?

I have tried to turn SIP back on multiple times, but the report keeps coming back that its not turned on.

I found a YouTube video that said I could download drivers for sequoia using that, but couldn’t figure out how to get the drivers. I have uninstalled opencore legacy since then.
