Apple Notes bullets don’t display in dark mode

iPhone 16, IOS 18.3.2, dark mode. In Apple Notes, when setting list style to bullets (vs dashes or numbers), the bullets don’t display. Dashes and Number lists do display. Switching my phone to light mode makes the bullets display. I had a similar problem with keyboard cursor not being visible in dark mode. I used an Accessibility setting to change the cursor color from blue to green which is then visible. But I don’t see any equivalent setting for the bullets.
