So I’ve created a video in Final Cut Pro and exported it using various methods. Each time I play the video after exporting it, this error message occurs.
Ive tried a list of troubleshooting methods mentioned on google, but nothing seems to work. I rendered files, XML export/import, etc etc.
any help is appreciated

I found a work around. After exporting the file and repeatedly receiving this error message. I open “IMovie” and started a new project and uploaded the exported file to “IMovie”
After doing that, the Video ended up working just fine.
So I required a few extra steps and another application, but it worked.
Could be a memory card issue at the recording level.
Look into things like:
Is the card read/write speed adequate?
Has it been formatted in the device doing the recording?
How many read/write cycles have been completed?

Where are you exporting to? How much free space there?
What are you trying to play it in? I don't recognize the icon in the error screen.
Just like terryb, I don’t recognize that icon.
What application is that?
Did you try playing the video in QuickTime Player?
Well that Icon you see is the “GoPro Player” Icon.
But even when I tried to open it on “QuickTime player” another error occurred.
I did find a solution though
Unable to open in QT Player but able to import into iMovie? That sounds very odd. Can you post the specs of the exported file with something like Invisor or ffprobe?
