Photos deleted before the deadline

On Wednesday I looked at my recently deleted photos on the iCloud website and they were there normally. But I looked today and they were gone and it hadn't been 30 days, it had been 24 days or something like that. I don't need the photos but I'm scared. What could it be? I'm using 74% of iCloud, I have 50GB and I'm using 37. Do you think it could have been to free up space?
