iPad A16 loses internet connection

Immediately after I started using my new A16 iPad, it loses internet connection after briefly going to sleep/stand by. My 6 year old iPad didn’t remotely have this issue and it is really annoying. And no, it’s not the router that needs reset or other devices outside the iPad, so what’s my question? Does anybody experienced this issue? Does any have knowledge about if Apple have an update coming for correcting this terrible glitch?
