Carplay dropping calls/muting calls

I am having such a hard time with Car play. We just bought a new/used vehicle and have nothing buy issues with Car play. I've reset both the vehicle and my phone(ios: 18.3.2 iphone15 ProMax)so many times I can do it in my sleep. I've even questioned the vehicles microphone, but that too is not the issue. As I had it checked. The issue is with Car play. I've called into Apple and we had it working after checking multiple places. But then later it disconnected again. My caller have also said they can't hear me, but I can hear them. When my phone is connected via just Bluetooth, no issues or problems at all. I'm so frustrated. I really do enjoy Carplay, when it works, but the dropped calls, muted calls and laggy/sluggish of music and in general when using Car play, there definitely needs to be a fix!

This is also a wired connection with brand new Anker usb cable.


Our new to us vehicle is a 2019 Toyota Rav4 Limited. I really do believe iPhone is the issue, since Bluetooth works beautifully.

Anyone else having issues??
