syncing my own ripped cd library to apple music (on Windows PC) and then to iphone without subscription.

I accidentally downloaded "apple music" app which my music out of "itunes" and left me with podcasts and audiobooks. Now i can't upload a cd to "apple music" or "itunes". I have a VAST library of cds. I used to easily import a cd into itunes and then sync to my iphone seamlessly. I love my iphone, but I don't want a mac computer and I don't want an apple music subscription. I have downloaded "apple devices". I have downloaded 'icloud" for windows. I have downloaded "Windows Link". None of these help.
