How can I recover deleted photos and videos from unsynced iPhone and iCloud?

i never selected for these pictures and video to be deleted, the most important ones are of my dog who passed away in 2019 ive got hundreds of videos and pictures of him and they have all been deleted from my phone and my icloud.

how can i recover them ? i never wanted them deleted i didnt know syncing would delete pictures and videos if not used. please there must be a way to find them and recover them. i checked online for my recent deleted theyre not online on my pc. i checked my photo deleted album theyre not there its like half of my videos and pictures have gone please i need my videos of my little boy back

I unsynced my iCloud Photos about a month ago thought it would save on space I turned it back on about 5/6 days ago there was a warning saying things will delete if I didn’t turn it back on, so now it’s back on I can’t see any recently deleted videos or pics of my dog from 2019… I didn’t select anything to delete or ask for something to be deleted and I can’t recover anything or find where they have gone.

Please clarify what happened.

Were you using iCloud photo library? What did you 'sync' your phone with that resulted in photos being deleted?

There's not enough information here to know what happened.
