How do I fix Apple Mail's broken push function on iPhone?

Since last week the push function on my Apple Mail doesn't work anymore. Every now and then an email comes in directly, but more often it happens that when I open my mail more than 10 emails suddenly come in. Does anyone else have this problem? To be clear: it has always worked flawlessly.
