Unable to get notifications from Apple Podcast on my new Mac.

I didn't get notifications from Apple podcast app on my new Mac, but I solved the problem with a tip from Reddit. You need to subscribe to a new podcast for the notification banner to pop up. And then you can follow the Apple guideline regarding podcast notifications.
