mini ipad to lenovo dock for external monitor NOT WORKING

worked like a charm until I updated ipad OS to 18.3.2. I have usb-c cable that runs to the lenovo doc and allows me to use an external monitor plugged into the dock via HDMI.

again this worked forever until last update.

any solutions?
