Dividing a voice memo into pieces

To divide an iPhone Memo voice recording into smaller pieces, you can use the built-in Voice Memos app. Here's how:

1. Duplicate the Original Recording:

• Open the Voice Memos app and select the recording you want to split.
• Tap the three dots (...) and choose Duplicate. This ensures you keep the original intact.

2. Trim the Recording:

• Select the duplicate recording and tap Edit.
• Use the Trim tool (scissors icon) to select the portion you want to keep.
• Save the trimmed recording with a new name.

3. Repeat for Additional Sections:

• Duplicate the original recording again and repeat the trimming process for the next section.
• Continue until you've divided the recording into all desired pieces.

4. Share the Segments:

• Tap the three dots (...) next to each trimmed recording and choose Share to send it via email, messages, or other apps.

If you'd like more advanced editing options, you can transfer the recording to a computer and use software like Audacity for precise splitting.
