HomeKit works strange with Siri after added Philips Hue

I had apple home compatible lights in my house for years. Now I bought Philips Hue Lighstrip + Hue Bridge. I added it to apple home.

The Lightstrip is named as philips and put into Living room.

In living room, I have 2 other lights since long time.

If I said "hey siri turn on Standing lamp" it only turn on that light. As it should be.

Now as I added Philips, and I say "hey siri turn on philips" it turns on ALL of the lamps in living room.

How can I set this up correctly? If I say turn on philips, obviously I don't want all other lamps in living room as well.

Assign each light to a room so Siri understands to ask for a room. I think the Name Philip’s might be confusing it to think Philip’s means all lights.

You’ll need to play around renaming bulbs or assigning rooms.

Let’s say this light strip is by the tv, create a “tv room” to ask for that so only the light strip goes on. Add the light strip to the tv room. This is what I did with my hue bloom bulb, it’s behind the tv to create a soft glow. So I say turn on the tv room light. You can do this in the Hue App. Download and install the Hue App from the App Store if you don’t have it, you’ll need to press the button on the bridge to sync and use the app. Then in app settings sync it to homekit from the smart home tab,

You can also create zones and groups : Group rooms into a zone in Home on Mac - Apple Support . Sorry I can’t find the support article to do this on a device other than the Mac,
