'Screen Recording' button missing in my iPhone

Hi, I went to use screen recording to find button missing. Control centre gives me two choices one to reset to factory settings the other to customise no ability to add.

I have reset without success.

I have tried to check screen recording is allowed on restrictions and it is checked for yes.

I have turned phone on and off still no screen recording button to be found. It was there last night but gone today and I haven’t recently changed systems, all systems up to date. Can anyone help please? Thank you.

If you don’t see the screen recording button, it’s likely not included in your Control Center. To add it, swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open the Control Center. In the top-left corner, tap the + icon to customize your controls. Look for the Screen Recording option in the list and tap on it to add it. Once added, the screen recording button will appear in your Control Center, making it easily accessible. This method works on iOS 18.4.

Thank you. I left here to chat to an Apple support member who organised a call but I figured it out before the call then I found your reply.
