In Apple iTunes for Windows, I have option for following fields to add credits:
But there is no separate field for the Person who wrote the Lyrics for the song. What would be the ideal place for adding Lyrics?

I think I'll keep the Lyricist in Composer for now and enable "Show Composer in all Views" option, that allows me to show the Composer field before the Artists in Song View.
Thanks for the suggestion, I have tried comments field, but
from my iPod, Carplay and iPhone doesn’t show the Composer or Comments field
value in the songs view.
The Artists is the only field visible when the songs are played. I think I have to add all the song artists including the Lyricist in along with singers in the Artist field to get the info in songs view.
It would be really nice if I can see the Lyricist when a song is playing on the go.
You can use the comments field (255 characters) and visible in the Songs view, or the lyrics tab (no limit) but only visible with Song Info.
