I've subscribed to apps on the Apple TV box, but none of my subscriptions (Max e.g.) show up on my phone or MacBook. The only things that show up are purchases through Apple TV. Running the latest system software.

Only subscriptions done directly in the app (Apple TV channels) will show up. Other services will be done directly with the provider and require their app. Some will allow Apple account to be used for billing, and more will allow them to connect to Apple's app for the queue and recommendations (which would only apply to the Apple TV box, iPhone and iPad)
