Audio effects panel missing - can't modify or use some audio effects

I've added the Compressor and Limiter to my video clips, but in the Audio Inspector, there's no section for Effects. I don't see any way to modify the applied effects or disable them on the selected clip. I've tried on both individual clips and compound clips.

Why are a huge number of audio effects missing on the latest FCPX update 10.6.6? Anyone out there got any idea why many of the audio effects that have been a mainstay on FCPX for years now; Brightness, Fat EQ, etc. etc. are missing on the new 10.6.6 version? FCPX is all but unusable now for anyone who takes audio processing seriously. I see newer versions of some audio tools, but vastly simplified; the Car Radio effect for example used to offer a drop down menu with a number of choices, but now it's just a percentage slider. The Telephone effect similarly is missing. Fat EQ is missing entirely, which is an absolute necessity to most professional video editors. Brightness and Mud Removal can both get you out of a pinch when processing audio too; both missing.

Final Cut V 10.6.6 messed up previous audio effects Hey folks, I'm new to this community and new user for FCPX. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to setup audio effects for my microphone. I used two Channel EQs, one compressor, and one limiter, along with a Pan set to Dialogue, then saved all into one Audio Effect Preset. As soon as I updated to this new version of Final Cut Pro this audio file is completely wrecked. All (most) of the settings in my audio effect have been changed to new numbers and this affected my old libraries as well. The main change that impacts most of the settings is within the limiter setup I had. Question 1) Have you encountered the same issue? If so, what's your workaround? Question 2) If not, is there a possibility I can find a log file that entails all the audio settings at the time of the video project export for a library?

Audio Skimming frame by frame whilie playhead skimming turned on is lost in FCPX 10.8? Hi, With an update to 10.8 I found out to my regret that audio skimming frame by frame is not possible anymore while playhead skimming mode is on. It is totally ruining my editing practice as i was normally used to work with playhead skimming turned on and using frame by frame audio trimming to match audio beats. Is it a bug ar apple is changing something that always worked? The only way now to listen audio frame by frame is either moving mouse cursor over preview canvas which is nonsense or turning playhead skimming off which wastes a lot of my time now because i have to switch between modes with every cut. Is there any way to fix this or is maybe apple going to fix this issue ? thanx and regards to all Community Members Simon

Pull down the audio configuration part of the panel.
