Remove or edit header

I am in a Word Processing document and have removed Headers and Footers ie no tick for Header or Footer in Document / Document but the text remains, with a small box but I cannot work out how to remove it.

Help please. Screenshot below of text, plus Header/Footer in Document.

That is a Text box indicating overflow [+]. Single-click on it and press the backspace button to remove it.
