Can the iPhone get a virus if I download a PDF file from the Safari internet browser?

Namely, I downloaded the pdf file of the book from the Dokumen pub site, but eventually I heard how certain people say that the site is unsafe and that those pdf files have malware. I deleted the file after, do force restart and delete history and data from browser, but should I be worried that I have a virus, also my IOS has been updated to the latest version.

There are no known virus/malware/spyware/hack for a non jailbroken phone.

So the phone is safe.
