Wavy diagonal lines on IPad

I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue with my 2024 iPad Pro. I suspect the issue is with the iPad software itself. When I draw diagonal lines with the Apple Pencil pro, the lines waver. Horizontal and vertical lines are fine. I’ve observed this issue in Procreate, the notes app, and even Photoshop via Sidecar. Examples of the first 2 will be included, I don’t have a picture of it happening in Photoshop. I’ve taken this iPad and Apple Pencil pro to my local Genius Bar where we tested multiple different Apple Pencils on multiple devices, including a different iPad Pro and an iPad Air. They all had the same problem. The kind people there did their best, but they couldn’t figure out what to do. I’ve seen posts about this issue and I’d like to preemptively answer some questions.

”Is it the screen protector?” No. I’ve seen this exact issue replicated on devices with and without screen protectors. It’s not the nano-texture glass either, the iPad Air I tested at the store didn’t have it, and it still had wavy diagonal lines.

"Is it your Apple Pencil?" Most likely, no. At the Genius Bar, we tried 3 different pencils, all of them did the same thing. Also, un-pairing it from my iPad did not work. Strangely enough, the issue does not manifest when drawing with a finger.

”Is it Procreate?” No. Every app I could think of that uses the Apple Pencil has the same issue with diagonal lines.

”Is the tip of your Apple Pencil Pro properly attached?” Yes it is, and I’d like to reiterate that using other Apple Pencil pros on this device and others produced the same result.

”Is your iPad running the latest version of iOS?" Yes.

"Did you try turning it off and on again?’ Yes. It didn’t work.

With that said, any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I don’t really know what else I can do at this point.
